Good news. It was not easy, but we have found someone willing and capable of managing the kid pool for the rest of the summer. The plan as of right now is to reopen this Friday at noon, assuming everything goes smoothly between now and then. I will update everyone if anything changes.
The rules are posted at the facility, but I’m going to again stress the following: THE POOL MANAGER AND LIFEGUARDS HAVE THE AUTHORITY AND RESPONSIBILITY TO ENFORCE DISCIPLINE AROUND THE POOL AREA. If the Board is informed by the new pool management company that certain residents are not following the rules or are being disrespectful, we will not hesitate to suspend your pool privileges. If another pool management company is run off due to the behavior of the residents the pool will be shut down for the rest of the summer.
One other quick update regarding the adult pool. I apologize that it has not been in the best shape this week, but the management company did not clean the pool before they quit on Monday and the storm that night didn’t help. We have a new maintenance company that has already started working on the pool and will have it looking good again as soon as possible.
