Unfortunately, we are going to have to temporarily close the walking trail off of Orchard Ave. due to the construction of a retaining wall behind 8 of the Phase IV lots that back up to the trail. We did everything we could to avoid building this wall, but there is just no way around it. I am very sorry for the inconvenience and we will get this work completed as quickly as possible.
I have also had several questions about the bridge being installed near the other end of the trail and I just want to assure everyone that is still going to happen. There has been a delay because the span of the bridge crosses a gas pipeline and Caliber has been forced to enter into an agreement with this company before the bridge can be installed. They have been dragging their feet on this deal, but I am hoping we can get something signed very soon. Once that is done, we just need to build the abutments and set the bridge, which has already been constructed. After the heavy equipment is out of there we will immediately start construction on a gazebo, which is already under contract. We have already installed sprinklers for the play field and just need to put down the sod.
Again, I am sorry for the inconvenience, but ultimately this is going to be a really nice amenity once it is complete. Please let me know if you have any questions.
